2nd Mural Coming to Mauston

Another Mauston Mural
Thanks to an art grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, the National Endowment for the Arts, and funds from the City of Mauston a mural will be painted by Diane Dahl on the Ballentine Building in Mauston.
The mural will be directly across the street from a mural painted last year by Dahl. The theme centers on the history of Juneau County, the land and its agriculture.
You can be a part of the mural in several different ways.
  1. SUGGEST historic or current people to be included in the mural, people who have made a difference or influenced Juneau County. The figures will be painted in the windows of the now Carpets to Go building.
  2. VOLUNTEER TO PAINT. Students, citizens, children are welcome to come and add their mark to the mural.
Call or write Diane Dahl at 608-547-9709 or dldahl@mchsi.com.
The proposed design has been approved by the Planning Commission. Work will begin immediately.
Dahl, a Mauston resident, graduated from UW-Milwaukee with degrees in both Business and Fine Art. She has been doing murals in our area for over 15 years.

Last year this mural was painted:
